"The heavens declare the glory of God and the sky above proclaims his handiwork." Psalm 19:1

Every once in a while, I feel nature shouting. Today was one of those days.
We decided a while ago to celebrate Hannah's birthday by pulling all the kids out of school to go see the solar eclipse in the totality zone. My brother has a house in the path and was very happy to host us! We had a wonderful lunch with a lot of Hannah's favorite foods including a beautiful blue cake with white icing (to mimic the eclipse). We had been praying for clear skies during totality and that is exactly what we got. The clouds that had been in thick patches overhead rolled away just in time to see an unobstructed view as the moon crossed in front of the sun.
The beauty of God's creation was stunning. As the sky grew dark, my family gathered together. It felt right and nature seemed to sing the glory of God. This moment with my family was a once-in-a-lifetime moment was incredible.
