Today we hung out in Phoenix all day. Everyone was happy to stay out of the car for a bit. We had a little free time in the morning and Eric found the McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park. We decided to give it a try as a place the kids could run around for a bit. It was a HUGE hit! We all had a great time exploring the exhibits and riding the small train and carousel.
We had a wonderful visit with a supporter over lunch where we were able to catch up with her as well as update her about some of the current happenings with us. Then back to the hotel for a much-needed nap that afternoon. In the evening, we visited with Eric's stepsister and her son. The kids and I had never met her in person and it was a great chance to visit and relax a little. Finally, we went back to the hotel for a quick swim and then bed! A full and busy day!
