The Big Trip: Day 12 & 13

Thursday brought another slightly slower day. We visited Eric’s aunt and uncle then drove out to the Black Forest for a picnic lunch at a park. That afternoon, just Eric and I went to visit with his grandparents again. We talked about God and how he works in our lives. Thursday evening, we enjoyed visiting with Eric’s parents. The 13th day of our trip, we took a vacation day and went miniature golfing that morning with Eric’s mom. The courses in Texas don’t have nearly as many hills! That afternoon we visited another favorite spot, Rizuto’s Ice Cream! Eric and I split a huckleberry ice cream and a kiwi gelato. Yum!
