One common question I receive is whether I need to travel extensively to visit TECH projects. In most cases, we can work remotely to meet the design needs of the ministry. However, when it comes to projects involving existing facilities, such as building additions or master plans, visiting the site is essential and irreplaceable.
In early June, I had the chance to visit Clear Lake Grace Brethren Camp, located approximately an hour west of Yakima, Washington in the Cascade Range. Established in the 1940s on 6 acres of land leased from the forestry department, the camp has faithfully served the region by ministering to campers and retreat guests. Recognizing the necessity to plan for the camp's future, the board enlisted TECH Team to update the master plan and offer guidance on enhancing the current facilities. Over two busy days, I assessed each building and gathered the necessary information for our analysis.
The next phase involves carefully reviewing all the data and determining the way forward. Your prayers are valued as we embark on this process. Please pray that the Lord would be glorified through the process and for His provision to fulfill the vision that will be cast.
