Like most of the rest of parents with kids, a new school year has begun in the Livingston household. While Liam is our least enthusiastic student, he has started 8th grade off well and seems to be enjoying his classes and seeing his friends. Hannah has enjoyed starting 5th grade and has had the opportunity to play on the Jr. High soccer team (a year early!) Ranen, while initially feigning reluctance to be in school, has greeted each day with a peep in her step and a smile on her face.
This year, Katie has ventured into new territory by taking on the position of a 2nd-grade teacher (although not for Ranen). She has been faced with a steep learning curve and many adjustments, but she finds joy in her students and colleagues. With each passing day, she gains more confidence.
We are thrilled and optimistic about the educational opportunities that await us in the coming year!
