My Hannah Girl. She is my mini me. She feels all her emotions deeply. Sometimes to the point that they cannot be contained. Usually, that means crying and tears. This past Christmas Eve service, this meant dancing.
Our church this year did just one Christmas Eve service in the morning and invited all the children into the service. There were lots of carols. Liam and Hannah know a lot of the carols because we use them as bedtime songs during the Christmas season. And we sing a lot in the car together. Liam is a great reader so even when we started singing verses he was unfamiliar with, he was able to keep up. Hannah can't read yet so much beyond the first verse and she was a little lost.
Until she started moving. Eric let her out into the aisle and Hannah danced a dance of joy and love to her Newborn King. She twirled and lifted her hands. She pointed her toes and had the biggest grin on her face. It looked how my heart feels when I sing the old Christmas songs. It was beautiful.
