I love stories. Hearing them, telling them, laughing, crying, all of it. I love a good story. I don't think it is much of a stretch to say my life revolves around the telling of stories. I find the stories we love often speak to what we value.
I love the super hero movies that have been coming out. I love the justice and seeing them strive to be their best self. I love a good romance (Jane Austen especially) and the noble and pure love that forms through friendship and respect.
The ability of one person to use words, pictures, shapes, and colors (and many others things) to relate a story to another person, that fascinates me. The idea that the story might be different depending on who is hearing it and what their history is how I was first drawn to study psychology at school!
As we continue to lean on God to search out our part in His story, I'm so thankful we get to work on our story-telling skills! I hope these glimpses into our lives (both the big and small things) relay the joy of serving, the love of family, the struggles of life, and easing of burdens through community. We are thankful that each of you has chosen to be part of our story!
