At the start of the year I had a plan to take at least two (probably more) of the six ARE exams for architecture licensure. 2020 had other plans.
The first test was scheduled for the end of March. However, the week before my test, all the testing centers were closed due COVID-19. A few months ago they started slowly opening back up. When that happened I started looking for a time to reschedule the canceled exam. After a six month wait, my first exam will be September 28th! Pray for clarity of mind that day.
While I waited I worked on the AXP (formally IDP - it's a program to gain experience in the field that must be completed prior to licensure). I completed that last month! It was a satisfying feeling to finally see 100% for all the areas. I have seen God's faithfulness throughout this whole process, even as I have started and stopped it several times.
One step down, six more to go...
